Talk Line

1. What you type here will appear in the Event window as “chat” after hitting the enter key on your keyboard.

The text appears in the Event window as, “your name” says “text”, for example:
Aker Minn Says: Good Morning everyone
If you use the forward slash as your first character, you will “emote” your text, for example “/runs across the room” will appear in the Event Window as:
Aker Minn runs across the room

2. Event Window: In this window, you will see the events going on in the room you are in.

You will see people talking to you (usually Blue Text), and things happening around you (Black Text).
If you get a Private Message (1:1), it will show as Blue Italics,
Out of Character (OOC) will show up in Green Text.
If you have connected to in-game IRC channel, IRC text will display in a Mauve.
The text will automatically scroll upwards.
To switch talk modes, simply click on one of the options on the bottom bar of the window.
If you wish to scroll back to see previous text, click off the Scroll Lock box at the centre bottom of the entire Window. Remember to click Scroll Lock back ON as soon as you are finished, or important events happening in the room, will be missed.
