Urges are brain - values that are updated in every character according to his sexual behavior. On the other side, the urge values determine certain modifications in your characters everyday life. They may influence how other characters interact with you or what you can or can not do.
Urge values can be in the range 0 -100 and they all start at 0 for every character but there is also the urge satisfaction. When an urge is satisfied, its effects are not so "urgent" as if it is not satisfied. Take the urge for sex for example. When it is satisfied, you are calm and can concentrate on other things, but when it is not satisfied you think about sex more and more often, you become unfocused and may make more mistakes in your daily tasks. Urge satisfaction can reach from 0 (dissatisfied) up to 100% (totally satisfied. the urge value and the satisfaction degree are what is used to determine the effects of urges in different situations.
We will not examine the drinking urge here. Although technically an urge it is treated differently and is examined in the Alcohol Section. We will now examine all urges separately. Usually the consequences apply with a low satisfaction and the more, the higher the urge itself is, so a low satisfaction with an urge of 10 does not create effects with the same intensity or with the same chance than a low satisfaction with an urge of 90 points. Usually there are positive and negative effects with a low satisfaction, so that not satisfying the urge is something that gives the character a positive but also a negative effect. When the urge is satisfied, most of the effects are void as long as the satisfaction stays up.

Each urge is represented by two bars: The top one of the par is sunken and the lower one of the pair is raised. The sunken one depicts your urge value in the range 0-100 and the raised one depicts your urge satisfaction. The satisfaction value can reach up to the urge value. For example if your urge is at 63 then your satisfaction can also raise to 63 which, in this case, is 100% satisfaction. When your urge climbs to 84 for example then your satisfaction can also go up to 84 which then is called 100%
Urges don't go down automatically, they only rise. If you really want to lower an urge, you have to go on a Redemption Quest and find a redemption cross
Each orgasm has a small change of increasing the urge.

Every time the character enters a public room naked with other PCs there is a small chance that the urge goes up. The chance is higher in guard patrol rooms than wilderness rooms

When the partner reaches orgasm with his pain greater than 20% there is a chance that the urge goes up. It is possible that a characters maso and sado urge goes up at the same time when he and his partner are in pain.
Every time the character hits a character in hurt only mode there‘s a chance that the satisfaction goes up. The chance is higher when genitals are hit. There is a chance that the veins increase when genitals are hit
