Burglar Alarm

A burglar alarm device is locked down in a private home to detect thieves. One burglar alarm can protect the whole house, regardless of where it is locked down. It can not be stolen. What it does is monitor the house for stealing attempts, then it checks the thief's stealing and DEX against the house owners observation and eventually raises an alarm. When an alarm is raised, there is a separate check for a stealing crime. Having an alarm, does not guarantee a crime being created. However the thief starts to flash and can be attacked. Flashing times out, five minutes after the thief left the house.

The doors of the house become transparent for PC guards who can enter the house and go through locked doors in order to catch the thief or KO him. The alarm is transmitted directly to the owner of the house if he is online and it is also broadcasted through all gryphons so that characters in rooms with gryphons receive the information where the break is.
